Fast forward a year, 25 donors made the first leg of the project possible by donating $4,930.88 ... it transported all the medical equipment and supplies to Florida.

Prior to pickup, Eternal Life Clinic (in Oklahoma), stored our contents at a no charge until all the puzzle pieces fell into place.

Pam Cronk, a special friend we knew while living in Germany years ago, provided contact information for the LDS church in Tulsa. The bishop and several others provided the manpower, forklift, pallets, and packing supplies needed to prepare the load for shipment.

Literally, within two hours following the arrival of Dr. Stephen Hansen’s trailer from Idaho to Oklahoma, the pickup date, the loading group, and our trucker fell into place.

There were additional groups who donated diapers, shoes, clothing, and more for an orphanage in need near the location we were headed. It filled all the empty spaces between the medical equipment, or about one-fourth of the container.

We had understood that the shipping container would remain in Florida until we fundraised the balance. However, on December 31, 2022, the container unexpectedly arrived in Port-au-Prince. It completely surprised us. What now?! Imagine our thoughts.
